Northwest or North Pole?????

LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW!
And snow it did!
When it first started we hurried outside to play. Joseph was so excited to make a snow angel that he got dressed in a rush. Do you notice anything wrong with this picture? (Hint: Look closely at the pants.) He kept reassuring me that they were just fine! When it comes to snow, you cant worry about the little details like which way your pants go.

Thankfully we were able to give it another try...the snow kept on coming.

And coming!

Joseph was such a gentleman and wanted to shovel the snow. I didn't have the heart to tell him that his shovel might not be up for the job.

Joseph and I made a little snowman. However, with all the snow, our little snow friend was....

fast disappearing.

Going...

going...

still going...

GONE!

It was pretty to look at, but...

I thought we were going to have to rescue Mary soon.

Christmas 2008

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!
What a wonderful year we have had. We have been blessed more than we could have ever imagined.
Here are some pictures of our Holiday Season.

Joseph getting ready for the years to come and giving his best "Don't mess with my little sister look".

Excited that Santa made a stop at the Bowen house.

Showing off a new Cowboy dress-up outfit.

Happy Birthday Jesus!

Joseph thought Jesus had to have a candle too, but would help Him blow it out.

Celebrating Christmas with Papa and Grandma

What fun we had at a Children's Christmas Party! I bet you thought the kids were posing with Mr. and Mrs. Claus.

Making a Gingerbread House with Grandma

Joseph "ice skating" at his music class.

Then we went to try it out for real.

Joseph had a blast and didn't think we stayed long enough.

All this partying and looking so cute can really tire a girl out!

Joseph and Grandma watching the Boat Light Parade from atop the Sissy Doll. What a fun memory!

Thanksgiving 2008

We had a great Thanksgiving. We truly have much to be thankful for this year! The pictures are kind of backwards, but if I tried to get it perfect it would never get posted.

Grandma prepared a beautiful bird. It was delicious!
