Happy Birthday Meghan Grace

It is hard to believe that my little princess is three years old! Where has all the time gone? My prayer is that I can savor every minute. Meghan Grace we love you more than you could ever know!

I stayed up a little longer than I would like to admit getting her outfit ready for the day, but the smile on her face when she saw her #3 shirt made it all worth it!

Gracie requested a Tinkerbell cake. She was a happy girl!

Gracie's Tinkerbell cake. We are making an effort to get the "yucky" ingredients out of our house. I can proudly say that this cake was free from artificial food dyes (used beet juice to color it), HFCS, and hydrogenated oils. It was, of course, gluten free so that mommy could enjoy it too. :-)

First Day of School 2011-12

Celebrating the 100th day of school.

We needed some "easing" into our school year. We counted up 100 days of school last year, ending with the first day of Summer Vacation. However, we really didn't have a proper celebration. We decided to have our 100 day celebration as our first day of school. You can see...it was really all about the food.

This was actually dinner, but I posted them backwards. If I take the time to reverse them, I will never get them posted. In my commitment to post more frequently this year, I am going to leave it as is....as much as it pains my perfectionistic side. :-)

Lunch...yummy!

Breakfast was our favorite! Gluten free chocolate pancakes and sausages...

We really did do other things besides eating today. But we this was a fun way to start our school year. Happy 2011-12 school year to all!
