The Big Move was finally upon us. Below are some pictures of our crazy adventure.
The moving containers started to arrive...we had 4 total. While I packed the house, Mark single handedly packed up the containers as snugly as sardine cans. I still don't know how he did it.
Joseph spent a lot of time eating snacks and watching videos on his little DVD player while we were packing up. I don't think he minded too much though.
Finally, after MANY agonizing days...and nights, we were ready to go. The containers were on their way to Seattle, we were shortly behind.
Our first visit was to Grandma and Grandpa in West VA. It was a great visit!
Take a look outside of Joseph's window. This was taken around 1:00 in the afternoon. We were in South Dakota and suddenly came into a storm. I have never seen anything like it. First it became very, very dark and then started raining. They called it "White Out" conditions. The rain was coming down like we were driving through a waterfall. Visibility was zero. It was very scary. We thanked God that we made it through safely.
Visiting Cousin Hailee, Uncle Bill and Aunt Julie in South Dakota.
Joseph just loved playing with Hailee.

We couldn't resist making a short stop to the Corn Palace in Mitchell, South Dakota.
Joseph and Daddy at the Corn Palace. The pictures behind were made from Corn on the Cob.
Joseph found a new friend at Wall Drug in Wall, South Dakota.
This picture is from our Mitchell stop, but I put it out of place. I couldn't resist capturing my guys acting "corny".
We finally made it to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. Here Joseph and Daddy are waiting for Old Faithful to blow.
Just like clockwork she gave us a spectacular show. Sadly, we don't have any pictures of animals to show for our visit. They just didn't seem to want to come out. Even though it is Summertime, Joseph was convinced that they were all hibernating.
I just had to capture this picture as we were driving into The Great Northwest in case there was any doubt about Seattle's rain. However, we have had some gorgeous days since we have been here. In fact we are in a bit of a heat wave right now.
Joseph playing with a new cousin, Patrick, at Aunt Gail's home on our first night in Seattle.
It has been a long haul, not to mention a little stressful, but we are all very happy to be getting settled.

Great pictures Joseph, looks like you had a nice trip and got to see some really cool things along the way.
Wish you could have stopped to see us on your way. Hopefully it wont be too long before we see you again.
Love Aunt Michelle
